 Getting some practise.

Breaking against fellow Brit Danny Luton in the main arena.

Having a laugh with former world finalist Mark Jones of the USA.

A shot of the beutiful World Championship table supplied by Diamond Billiard Products with cloth supplied by Iwan Simonis.

What an honour.

Me with all my tools of the trade. From left you see my Euro-West jump/break cue, Flexi-Rest which I use when I need to cue over an object ball, the brass disc you see is what I place on the rail when I need to cue from the cushion, the black bridge is for general shots and my Predator 5K4 playing cue.

Matt Lester vs Jimmy White 31 July 2008.

Me with the greatest natural talents snooker has ever known Jimmy White and Alex Higgins, I beat Jimmy in a snooker exhibition later that evening. At the Dome in Doncaster 31st July 2008, I have become great friends with Jimmy over the last 2 years. He has helped me with my game loads.

My first visit to the table against Jimmy White 2008.

Clearing up against Jimmy, towards the end of my 40 break.

Me and Jimmy after the match. Jimmy & I have become good friends since the match, he is now a huge support to me.

I visited Craftsman Cues in Leeds to have a butt joint fitted on my cue so I could take advantage of screw-in extensions, here's pictures of the great work they have done.

visit www.craftsmancues.com for more info.

The but-joint has replaced the phenolic bumper at the end of the butt, I got a telescopic extension (pictured)and a mini butt extension.

The telescopic extension on my cue.

Craftsman Cues are the #1 cuemaker in Yorkshire and without doubt one of the best snooker & English pool cue makers in the UK. I am proud to join the likes of the World snooker #2 Stephen Maguire & Yorkshire's finest the legend Paul Hunter who have chosen Craftsman Cues.
